.... this time from Birmingham International. I cannot remember taking these pictures but according to my records they were taken on the 20th March 1992.
Manchester Metrolink - Mark One.
Pictures taken at Manchester Victoria station in the early days of Metrolink and before the station was rebuilt. This fleet of trams has now bee replaced.
More WCML freight activity at Rugeley Trent Valley in the early 1990s.
Mostly coal traffic for the power station... now no coal and no power station. Not much traffic here.
Chelford station on the Crewe to Manchester line. Late 1980s or early 1990s.
This looks like it might have been a rescue job? The class 304s were reduced to three car sets in their later life. This down train does not seem to be getting much custom. This class 304 seems to be in Regional Railways livery.
