... and again!!

Image
Tees Dock to Doncaster container service approaches the station headed by GBRf class 66 number 66723 (Named "Chinook"). This is the same loco in the old livery... taken in May 2017 A Scarborough to Liverpool Trans Pennine Express service crosses the River Ouse as it enters the station. Work on the new cycle track/ pedestrian path is see on the right nearing completion.  The same train in the station.  Passing place... northbound and southbound Cross Country services pass in platforms 9 and 10.

York station... again!

The screen says: "Terminating train. This train finishes its journey here...." which is fortunate to say the least. No doubt the people at the cafe immediately below me thought so too.  A southbound biomass train is taken through the station by one of the refurbished class 60s. Colas bought them but they are now working for Freightliner despite the present livery.  A panorama of the north end of the station during a quiet moment.

Big Red Engine.
