Sir Nigel Gresley etc...

The A4 'Sir Nigel Gresley' is now in the workshop at NRM for its ten year boiler overhaul. This is it... admittedly it doesn't look much like it but I am assured that it really is 60007.

And one of her predecessors from the East Coast Main line, the Stirling single complete with its new tender.

  1. If that isn't 60007 it hit a low bridge very fast... Lovely shade of blue though. When did they carry that colour?

Is the Stirling single tender like the family Ax, that has its head and handle changed every time they wear out? When will the tender get a new locomotive?
